PS: after an aborted attempt to use the Win 10 mail program back when I was active in the "insider" program before full release, I didn't like W10 mail. If I accidentally triggered an Office 365 account, how do we get out of it? And, how do I install Office 2016? So, did I make a mistake? She doesn't want Office 365 (doesn't want recurring payments), so that is why she purchased the key card. I ended up saving the document to the hard disk, opening up Windows 10 Mail (which I had previously configured), and manually attaching the document to the letter.When I'm in Word, I attempted to "share" the document via Email attachment, I ended up getting a "Welcome to Outlook" popup.It also prompted me for her userid/password that is associated with her MS account, so I entered that. Prompted for the Product Key, which I entered from the key card. So I fired up the pre-installed Word and in the process I was I tried all sorts of ways to just download the Home & Student 2016, but gave up. We purchased a product key card at the store (Office Home & Student 2016) when we purchased the new computer. It came with a trial version of Microsoft Office installed, including Outlook. I'm configuring a new computer for a friend.
